Mirador de La Bermeja
★ 4.7 (641 reviews)
Mirador de La Bermeja is one of those hidden gems in Tenerife that nature lovers should definitely visit. Located on the TF-21 road that climbs from La Orotava towards Teide National Park, this viewpoint offers spectacular vistas of La Orotava Valley, the majestic Mount Teide, and if you're lucky, the famous sea of clouds that makes the island truly magical.
What visitors appreciate most is its peaceful and uncrowded atmosphere, unlike other more touristy viewpoints in the area. Here you can enjoy the scenery at your own pace, surrounded by the scent of native vegetation and the feeling of being immersed in pure nature. It's a perfect spot for a brief stop during your route to Teide, taking amazing photos, or simply breathing fresh air while contemplating one of the most beautiful valleys in the Canary Islands.
Keep in mind that parking is limited and the area is not adapted for people with reduced mobility. We recommend bringing warm clothing, especially if visiting at sunset, as temperatures can drop considerably at this altitude.
